EMPAGIO APPOINTS SVP OF SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Proven HRO sales leader joins executive team of mid-market HRO provider

Atlanta, Georgia (March 2006) - Empagio, a provider of mid-market HRO services, today announced the appointment of Steve Garrett as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Garrett brings to Empagio a wealth of sales and operational knowledge with 15 years experience in the Human Resources sector. He has worked on behalf of consulting firms and outsourcing providers while gaining a deep understanding of the linkage between the overall corporate goals and direction and HR's strategic role.

Garrett has spent the last decade in senior leadership positions, most recently serving as vice president of sales for Convergys Employee Care, a leader in Global HRO for 20,000 employer groups and larger. Other HR providers with whom he has worked include AG Consulting/ADP, and AtWork Technologies. During his tenure with these companies, he has developed a strong track record in building direct and indirect channels, developing strategic alliances and creating innovative business development initiatives that drive results.

Garrett received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas.
