Empagio Announces Two Additions to its HR Outsourcing Team
Industry Veterans to Lead Business Analytics and Payroll Tax Filing Operations
ATLANTA, GA – October 31, 2006 – Empagio, a leading provider of human resources outsourcing (HRO) services and a unit of HALO Technology Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: HALO), today announced two new additions to its HRO services team, adding to the company’s growing roster of seasoned executives. Carna Blau joins Empagio as manager of Payroll Tax Operations, and Barry Howell joins as senior director of Product Strategy.
In her role, Ms. Blau will provide operational direction and oversight to Empagio’s payroll tax filing service center. She has over 11 years experience in payroll and payroll tax operations, including management and operational positions with organizations such as ProBusiness and ADP. She is trained in several leading customer service methodologies and is a certified trainer in the Achieving Stellar Service® system. Ms. Blau is also a Certified Payroll Professional and a certified trainer for the CPP certification program, with over 10 years of experience in practicing customer-first service.
Mr. Howell will be responsible for the design and development of Empagio’s Business Analytics solutions, including the managed query and executive dashboard solutions. He has 20 years of HR technical development and product management experience with organizations such as Tesseract Corporation, Crum and Forster, Infocus and Sungard. In his most recent positions with Mellon HR and ACS, he managed product evaluation and implementation for online reporting and also managed query strategy and reporting tools. Mr. Howell has extensive experience in customer-facing roles and will be responsible for working directly with Empagio’s customers to incorporate their needs into Empagio’s ongoing product development efforts.
